Florette Cannabis
May 2024 - August 2024 · NYC
When I joined the Florette Cannabis team, the brand was still in its early startup phase. Their identity existed mostly as a loose deck—some logo wordmarks, a color palette, and a Helvetica type selection. I was brought in to help visualize and grow that foundation into a larger, more cohesive brand system.
Throughout the internship, I created logo wordmarks for each of Florette’s individual strains, giving every product its own recognizable identity while keeping everything connected under one visual umbrella. I also designed web assets, Instagram content, and merchandise that are still being rolled out today—supporting the brand’s expansion into new markets and product lines.
A major milestone from my time there was developing the Florette mascot—a character that quickly became a central piece of their identity. Since its launch, the mascot has appeared across merchandise, skateboards, packaging, and even as a mural inside Florette’s warehouse, helping cement its place in the brand’s visual language.
Beyond design, I worked on creative assets for local events, collaborated with NYC-based creators, and developed materials for dispensary partnerships.
