When creating the designs for the three print medium series, I drew back to the common theme of catastrophe. From catastrophes in the community to catastrophes at the beach, to even prevention of catastrophic plastic waste in the ocean, the main idea allowed for a full range of artistic expression while simultaneously reaching out as a call for action.
